Relocation Project Abstract
AFWERX, the innovation arm of the U.S. Air Force, required the full decommissioning of its 30,000-square-foot Las Vegas Hub. As a project involving federal assets and multi-destination logistics, the mission demanded a prime contractor capable of navigating strict chain-of-command protocols and complex technical requirements. The project required the systematic inventory, extraction, and distribution of all facility contents to various Air Force Bases, innovation hubs, and private offices across the United States, with a scope ranging from standard office furniture to highly specialized aerospace assets.
For government agencies, decommissioning a major hub involves significant logistical risk and strict accountability thresholds. Federal leadership facing a facility closure requires GSA relocation services capable of managing high-value assets and maintaining accountability for every item through the final handoff. This case study illustrates how our team provided the technical logistical command necessary to clear the facility on an aggressive timeline while maintaining absolute data and asset integrity.
